Namaste Hotel - Mumbai, India

NAMASTE!

Tandas paling berkuasa sedutan..slurrrp!!

SERIUS COOL!
Tandas ni bleh 'telan' macam2... dari bubble gum bear, sosej, buah catur. so kalo Public Toilet kat Malaysia ni selalu sendat ngan 'durjana2' yang payah nak flush - termasuk lah buntut2 rokok dari perokok tegar - aku rasa tandas ni bleh selesai kan masalahnya kot... elok2 kaki korang pon leh sedut sama

Awesome Sculptures

Korean sculptor Yong Ho Ji is a genius. All his sculpture is made out of spare tires on his family's Jeep Wrangler. Several month's are needed to fixed together tires into a bad-ass perfect wild animal.

Perfect anatomical details, rawness, wildness and power are the ways to describe these animal sculptures. So well-made you would think they’re alive.

Who is Architect

Definition:
An architect is a licensed professional who organizes space. Architects design houses, office buildings, skyscrapers, landscapes, ships, and even entire cities. The services of a licensed architect depend on the type of project.

What Do Architects Do?
Architects are trained in many areas, from historic preservation to structural engineering. This training can lead to a wide variety of careers.

Architects are fully qualified professionals.
While virtually anyone can draw up plans and call themselves a building designer, only a person registered by the Board can use the term 'Architect' (or 'Ar.' in Malaysia). But the difference is more substantial than just a name. Architects must have gained approved professional tertiary qualifications (Part I and II), have undertaken a minimum period of practical experience, and have successfully completed the oral and written examinations (Part III) before becoming eligible to apply for registration and qualifying to use the title "architect".

The Role of the Architect
A simplistic view of the role is that architects create architectures, and their responsibilities encompass all that is involved in doing so. This would include articulating the architectural vision, conceptualizing and experimenting with alternative architectural approaches, creating models and component and interface specification documents, and validating the architecture against requirements and assumptions. However, any experienced architect knows that the role involves not just these technical activities, but others that are more political and strategic in nature on the one hand, and more like those of a consultant, on the other.

These activities drive the competencies that the architect needs to be successful. We present a competency framework that helps architects assess areas for their own personal development, and managers in identifying who is a good fit for the architect role.

Famous architect.
In an article, there are 12 most famous architect who has changed the world:
1. Oscar Niemeyer (b. December 15, 1907)
2. Antoni Gaudí (25 June 1852 – 10 June 1926)

4. Frank Gehry (b. 28 February 1929)
5. Ieoh Ming Pei (b. 26 April 1917)
6. Alvar Aalto (3 February 1898 – 11 May 1976)
7. Le Corbusier (6 October 1887 – 27 August 1965)
8. Santiago Calatrava (b. 28 July 1951)

World’s first manned flight

At the end of October 2011, Thomas Senkel of e-volo had completed a series of unmanned tests and was ready for the first manned flight on an airstrip in the southwest of Germany. The flight lasted one minute and 30 seconds, after which the constructor and test pilot stated:

"The flight characteristics are good natured. Without any steering input it would just hover there on the spot".

This could be the future of flight, piloting a device as simple as a car.

spotted nyonya porcelain vessel

singaporean design studio hans tan studio has developed 'spotted nyonya', an industrial re-interpretation of the nyonya porcelain vessels which are traditional domestic wares native to chinese-peranakans in south asia. produced in collaboration with singaporean creative agency FARM, this contemporary take on the traditional objects transforms the original multicolored surface treatment into a new dotted pattern. the limited edition series of vessels utilizes the resist-dyeing technique that is often applied to dye fabric patterns. hans tan masks the porcelain pieces with the new dotted motif, which is then sandblasted, so that the areas protected are preserved, while the original glazed sections of the exposed areas are erased, revealing the white porcelain which lies beneath.

Glass that you can eat

Imagine drinking and eating at the same time. While you are having your favorite drinks then you dont need not to worry about littering. (By: The Way We See The World)

Jelloware re-imagines the concept of drinking, and imparts a new experience in the way it feels, tastes, smells, moves, and is even disposed of.

The cups are made out of agar agar and cast in different flavors, such as lemon-basil,ginger-mint, or rosemary-beet, each specifically designed to compliment a corresponding drink
